Jason John Puak is a lucky man; recently wealthy, a purveyor of the ladies and a self-confessed arse. He restores a derelict mansion built over the strongest crossover on planet Earth to the Shade World, filling his basement with ancient artefacts coming from the melting tundra, artefacts that predate the Hominids known as Homo Sapiens, the origins of which are from a race of Shades known as the People.
